My hubby came home from Ag Day, he saw lots of animals and my favorite part came home with some interesting things. I have never heard of a Tepary bean, but I'm excited to try them out in a few days.
I read the information sheet and the Tepary bean is native to southern Arizona's canyons, the Indians cultivated for hundreds of years and can withstand growing in extreme summer heat.
Very cool to learn about things I have never heard of. Oh yeah, he also came home with the 2009 National Beef Cook-Off recipe booklet and beef seasoning. This comes in handy because I am in a cooking mood lately. : )
